38/100 Days of Productivity -late- Today we looked at Act 3 Scenes 3/4 of Volpone. It is becoming more interesting as we get further into it which is a positive because I wasn't a big fan when we first started. We also looked at Blake's "The Sick Rose" and studied this. I really liked this poem and found it really easy to annotate and relate back to context. I enjoyed discussing it. I then received some help for my year 12 coursework and got advice on how to cut the word count also. I worked a 4.5 hour shift yesterday and it was very stressful. -J

37/100 Days of Productivity Over the weekend I worked two full days at my new job and so couldn't fit in any school work. Today I had triple Business where I created a cash flow forecast, personal survival budget, running costs, and a balance sheet for my business idea. It took a lot of time and they're almost done. In Finance we looked at the toxic debt of the US subprime mortgage market 07/08 and how it spread. For English, we looked at Blake's "The Schoolboy" and studied the context for this poem further. We also created some links to Volpone for the exam. -J

36/100 Days of Productivity Today I spent my first two lessons copying up notes from yesterday. These included "The Tyger" annotations and Volpone annotations. I then had double english where we made a plan for a question about King Lear. I am hoping to have a better performance on this essay than the last. I spent my final two lessons correcting my business work for the moderation. I also went to work today but we had a quiet day which was nice after the busyness I've had today. -J

35/100 Days of Productivity: Today I read through my Unit 3 business assignments and ensured that everything was correct and up to standard as we have moderation coming up shortly. I then carried on with Unit 36 making cash flows, survival budgets, and running cost charts. In finance we made notes on a few short areas but I feel like the lesson was as good as it could be. In english we looked at Blake's "The Tyger". Its a very interesting poem and certain parts of it such as the circularity of it make it easier to learn. I'm enjoying Blake at the moment but I've yet to form an overall opinion of his works. I may not post tomorrow as I will be at hospital, but feel free to leave messages/asks if you'd like to :) -J

34/100 Days of Productivity Today I completed a trial day at my new work place. It was a testing time to say the least. I had fun and learnt new things, but some aspects were challenging. I also worked on my finance notes before I go back to school tomorrow. I've focused so much time on english work that I didn't do anything else :/ -J
