The smartest students I know take lecture notes with pen and paper, and transcribe secondary sources into notebooks with, you guessed it, pens.

The act of writing somehow makes memories the way click/ clacking a keyboard fails to.

It's okay to take a step back and review those skills that you've already learnt. I've been really stressed about my essay writing process, but taking the time to revise my note-taking, researching, and organisational skills has really helped me.

Remember, it's not just about the end result, the final grades, and the final product. While those are also important, the skills you learn along the way will serve you for a lifetime.
