I'm really happy you enjoyed my previous post <3

This mermaid aesthetic is more mythological type than the classic pastel, cartoony type aesthetic because I personally feel like these kinds of mermaids would be more likely to study and enjoy studying in general (let me know what y'all think)

So here is my take on how a mermaid would study:

Study like a Mermaid + Aesthetic

use scented candles while you study

make your notes colourful, mainly using cool colours like blues and greens

Use different textures or patterns to take notes

turn your notes into a song to remember points easily

add stickers, washi tapes and other cute add-ons to your notes (mostly ocean-inspired)

don't study in your pyjamas. wear clothes that help build the mood for studying but are also comfortable at the same time

listen to lofi-music or ocean sounds while studying

have a clean study space before starting to study

keep all necessary stationery you need and water within arms reach

if you can study in nature (in the park, near a lake, by the sea etc)

take regular breaks between study sessions and take a walk to get some fresh air

talk to your pet about what you studied (or even a soft toy)

exercise regularly to stay healthy and have a fresh mind

while studying, if you are distracted, keep a blank piece of paper next to you and write down all your thoughts and get back o them after your study session

know your limits. don't overwork yourself and take a break when you know you have reached your limit

make studying an enjoyable activity that you look forward to in your day

have a study buddy you can study with and share what you learn

if you have cute ocean-themed stationery. 100% recommend to USE IT

make mind maps and flowcharts for notes

read in advance for your tests and don't wait till its too late

Study like a Fairy + Aesthetic

try and figure out your unique style of taking notes

draw doodles or add stickers in your notes to make them attractive

wear clothes that you feel comfortable in while studying

make sure to take some time of during the day to take care of yourself

use a color scheme while taking notes

put up nice inspirational quotes around your room to help you stay motivated

read for pleasure (it also helps increase your vocabulary)

use spaced repetition or mnemonics to learn large chunks of information

write down your notes so that they are retained for longer durations of time

join a study group and review material frequently

find out what time of day you are most productive and try to do your high priority tasks then

treat yourself with regular breaks

dont stick to one topic for too long. switch things up a bit and study a different topic and get back to the previous one later

make sure to stay hydrated while studying

if you ever feel overwhelmed take a break and do something enjoyable or take a nap and get back to work once you feel better

if you prefer studying outdoors, find a cute café or a spot your really like to sit and study

if you are prone to procrastination, try using the Pomodoro technique

don't study when you are in a bad mood. usually you will end up forgetting whatever you study at this time. so instead try to improve your mood and then sit down to study

make a schedule and try and stick to it as far as possible

don't wait for the last minute to start projects or assignments. break the project into smaller chunks and tackle it piece by piece.
