october 6. i have my first lectures of the new semester tomorrow and they will actually be on campus! i am super excited to go to university again in the mornings, with a hot cup of coffee in my hands, music in my ears and the cold autumn breeze on my face.

i have also been on three dates in six days with y. whom i already start missing when he’s not with me, i’m screwed. i was planning to stay single for a while after breaking up with my ex partner but it’s not looking like that plan is working out very well.

hello! i’ve been part of the community for a couple years and since I gained a lot of followers lately I felt a reintroduction post was necessary.

about me:

— my name is ellie, i go by they/them pronouns and identify as non-binary (please be respectful of my pronouns)

— i am 21

— i am a muslim revert

— studying architecture at university (my life long dream!)

— i am fluent in english and german, i also know french and spanish on a b2 level and can read/understand basic afrikaans and dutch

— i live with chronic mental illness and am a very passionate advocate for destigmatising mental health

interests:

— architecture, art and design

— reading, especially classics, multi-generational dramas and greek mythology (most fall in the dark academia genre)

— writing (i have been writing stories ever since i learned to write and started writing my first novel when i was 10)

— playing the piano (took lessons for 10 years, played for 13)

— history (i studied history before switching to architecture)

— yoga and ballet (have been practicing yoga on and off for about 5 years and practiced ballet for 6 when i was younger and intend to pick it back up)

— plants (i lost count of how many plants i have in my apartment tbh)
