This was one of the initial design directions we explored during the early stages of creating the @diamondlanecoffeeco brand. Because vinyl and music is one of the main pillars of the DLCC brand, I developed a concept called “The Record Label” which took the visual language of 12” vinyl records and applied it to coffee. You’ll see the initial concept explanation along with a few basic references, and how that language could potentially apply to the brand’s packaging and other branded merch. I wanted the coffee bags to resemble vinyl packaging, using circular labels with information typeset in the same fashion as vinyl record labels.
