I was in the Hot Seat tonight!
So tonight was my Student Supervisor/Blue Shirt interview! I thought it was just going to be me and the Student Manager. That was not the case. It was the Student Manager, the manager, and oh, just all of the Blue Shirts! I walk to the room, and though the window, I see them all sitting in there! I was like "shit!" I had some time to collect myself because I was early, and they took like 5 minutes or so to talk about the previous candidate! So they started out with an ice breaker. They all introduced themselves with their favorite disney movie. Some questions were expected/okay. Others threw me off! I was sweating, and maybe I should have taken off my scarf! I was playing with my hands. I was repetitive, and I felt that I was giving really short answers. I don't know. I realized the major responsibilities of a Blue Shirt, and I am feeling less confident in myself. I think I'm expecting a Rejection letter. I'm glad I applied anyway. I was originally just going to wait until next year to apply. I convinced myself to take the chance this year. I will be a lot more prepared for next year if I do get that "you aren't ready to be a Blue Shirt this year" email.
