 In order to successfully audit a building, the structural engineers will also have to create an inspection report. A basic inspection report requires certain important details of the visual inspection and overall assessment of the structure. Details like the general information of the structure, the structural system of the building premises, alterations in the building, additions that may have been made to the building, leakages in the building if any and other important and relevant data of the building.

 In order to conduct the structural audit and analyze the actual condition of the building, it is very important that actual tests of the strength and durability are conducted. There are many different types of destructive and non-destructive tests conducted by structural engineers.
