And on the hunt. Though it might be more fitting to call it a mad dash at this point. It had been perfect really; she'd cut into one of the deeper alleyways, not so many people around, and those that were preferred to hurry and not look twice. Him and his two friends had pulled knives on her.
Now he had two less friends. But they had just died, not been eaten, and the last one tried to run. So stained with red, she ran after, the gash on her right arm lost in the adrenaline.
As they passed a corner he almost turned, as if spotting something; this was her chance. Just as she intended to capitalise on the distraction, she collided with a figure that had seemingly appeared from nowhere. What kind of timing was that?
Furious before she even hit the ground, a snarl burst from her lips. She would have leapt on this one instantly instead, but the other had made it personal with those slashes. Fingers already around a patch of loose stones on the ground, she twisted and pelted the heaviest at the one attempting to flee. Hitting the small of his back it was enough to stagger him to the ground, but she doubted he would stay there more than a moment.
She moved to rise, but the sharp pang of familiarity held her in place. Her brow furrowed as she regarded the one she had impacted for the first time. She stared in silence for a moment, he was the first she'd seen here, but not one she saw too often at home.
"...Shark?" Something akin to a sneer crossed her bloodstained lips. "Don't even think about it, you don't wanna get in the way."
