  Dos Lokos, the minds behind Erratic (curating exclusive techno events since 2011 in New York City and providing the attention it so ever deserves), are a pair of fine techno purveyors and connoisseurs who have been active deejaying since the inception of their emblem in 2011. On a personal level, they are long time friends who share a genuine passion towards the arts and techno, found and manifested within the scenes of the underground. On a professional level, they aim to infuse and catalyze these experiences into a unique and energetic style, a back-to-back dj set –represented by equal amounts of shrewdness, depth, and artistry. BIO: 88uw was born in 1978 in Hamburg, Germany and by the 80s he was already fascinated by electronic music. In 1991 he visited a record store specializing in Techno for the first time and bought his own records. Three years later at the age of 16 he starting to DJ in clubs and hasn't stopped to this day.Studio work came later for 88uw and it was not until 2005 that he started teaching himself music production. His first release was in 2010 on Parallel 125 and in a very short space of time he has made a significant impact on the techno scene in Germany and abroad. He releases regularly on renowned labels including the legendary Synewave, Gynoid Audio, Slap Jaxx and IF? Records. His own tracks, and remixes for the likes of Damon Wild, BCR Boys and Niereich are known for their unique, dark and pumping sounds.This signature 88uw sound is in demand and leaves listeners, and dance floors around the world in ecstasy. STROBE FM PODCAST 037 - Angel Alanis (First two hours of Angel Alanis' set at Magnet IV Saarbrücken Germany 12/04/2014) Hailing from the old Chicago / Midwestern electronic music scene, Angel started as a DJ at the age of 14, and later released his first record in 1996 with his debut double-pack techno EP titled "Advanced Therapy" on DJ Hyperactives's Contact Records. Since then he has continued to sling music, landing him on labels such as Naked Lunch, Afro Acid, Impact Mechanics, Combination Research, Driving Forces, Illegal Alien, Gynoid, Spark, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Phobiq, and BoysNoize, and has also been featured on Tresor, Tronic, White Noise, International House Records, Moody and more. In 2011, Angel joined the Afro-Acid team, home of DJ Pierre, and also established two labels- D-form with partner Steve Parker and his own techno label Slap Jaxx. Also in the works are new labels Owslah Music and Patseq and artistic collaborations with numerous artists, including an album with wife Maria Goetz. Angel's music and his labels have already earned worldwide acclaim from such DJs as Dave Clarke, Ken Ishii, Dj Rush and more, and the future is sure to further establish his already lasting imprint on techno music. Angel is now a 39 year old techno fart with a mild temper. As far as he's concerned, and no matter what the trends are, techno will never die!!
