To have Troy Tempest under your thumb, mighty Titan

- First, I am team Troy all the way. They wanted to make a film about him ( I mean about Stringray but he is the captain so) but disrespectful of this take on his own mission and life. That’s nasty. Probably one of the reason biopic can be frustrating.

- Then it’s fun that Marina knows Johny which make me wanted to headcanon that in their off hours, Atlanta just shows her all the human’s media and somehow she invites Marina to fangirl with her / even tho I don’t like the sterotype fangirl depiction but I can understand them acting that way in some degree

- Johny Soonara is such a comedy name I cannot stop laughing when they say the name

- Slimy delicious moment of Titanyelling at X20 for failing to kill Troy

- One thing also appreciate this warming father/son (in law *cough cough) between Commander Shore and Troy these latter episodes. Like the commander is pretty understanding of Troy being quite mad about the production and he was like it’s okay you don’t have to face Johnny if you uncomfortable.

- Phones teasing Troy at the end for saving the days that is adorable. Also the ending is so cheesy I giggle hard when Atlanta doing the “Troy Tempest” in a dreamy voice

-Also don’t forget we get so many pepper post and expression for Troy looking like poor little meow meow here

It is a very much bio sci-fi horror episode about a diseased outbreak. It makes me think that actually if the Aquaphibian can literally do a virus warfare and takes over Marineville and succeed. It was so close that Troy and Phones’ plan didn’t work, they probably did got hold of Marineville

Also I love how they gradually make everything got infected and the doctor and Cmdr. Shore could do nothing about it. That was actually terrifying (probably even more so if they got more budget for the Marineville population)

Anyway it makes me realize how threatening these Aquaphibians actually are compared to other antagonists in TV 21- I might even go as far as that they are as threatening as the mysterons and UFO aliens, and even more so in some occasions. Ofc these guys are not more advanced than human but one thing that make them a threat is that they have a clear goal and they intend to actually win us. Also they are so close to us than all the other extraterrestrial beings.

Haven’t write about Stringray in sometime now but yes I love this show and how well thought out it is.
