Sure, but remakes only happen when the developers’ investors thinks there is interest in said remake (that or they are very nice or very crazy).
Today’s game industry is all about doing research to discover what the player wants (or think they wants), and I think that let’s play culture and retro-worship is a part of it (not the major part, the major part is still “are you sure this will make money to us? And if so, how?”).
But anyway, my question is more about how porn can influence interest on the public and if that can actually get a game ressurrected.
Your point is still valid, tho. Remaking a game and remaking shitty is a no-no.You have to consider modern audiences besides the nostalgic guys, so fixin’ some broken stuff, cleaning up the visuals and cramming it full of bonus content into it is a good way to go about it, i think.
