fourteen: talk about their favorite subjects.

after talking about gardening that much no one is surprised when i say his favourite subject is herbology lmao he loves plants!!! to me professor spourt is rather threatening but he finds her very lovely and enjoys spending time with her in the greenhouses after class

i believe he’d also love divination (got the passion from gwen, she loves babbling about prophecies and dumbass legends) and would absolutely take ancient runes and alchemy

fifteen: talk about their least favorite subjects.

ben and gwen had an bet during his first year about whether he’d be great or shit at potions (his parents being the best and worst potion makers known) and well. turns out he’s just as useless at it as gwen (the fact that he hates snape more than anything is just the cherry on top of the cake)

he has mixed feelings about care of magical creatures (likes professor kettleburn and studying, kind of dislikes the creatures so. it’s hard for him to enjoy this class) and finds charms pretty boring

twenty-four: what’s their greatest fear? how does it translate into their boggart?

well his greatest fear is losing his loved ones (once gwen had a pretty bad accident and since then he’s afraid of death and can’t bear seeing anyone in pain) i don’t know how to describe this but. point one, he’s scared bcos he wouldn’t know what to do if something happened to the people he loves the most, and the feeling of being useless and helpless makes him feel sick. point two, he also wouldn’t know how to act after that. he’d feel incredibly empty and like. he just lost a part of himself 

twenty-five: what’s their greatest weakness? how do they deal with it?

he doesn’t really know how to act around people. he has no idea how communicating works. he spent most of his childhood around his family, never got into serious relationships so he goes batshit crazy at mind when someone initiates conversation with him. so i guess i’d say his weakness is not knowing how people work and he deals with it by trying to look very unapproachable. he’s also very stupid
