#Benny formerly #Hershel from the #NYCACC now with @straycatnetwork #straycatnetwork has a message: Benny is so depressed:( he’s all by himself and can’t see his toys so he can’t play or do anything but eat sleep and use the litter box. I’m trying to hold him as much as I can but he can’t get comfortable in my arms. He can’t lay his head down without putting pressure on one side of his face which hurts him, so I have to tuck a blankie under his chin. Last night he had an accident outside the box but luckily I had pee pads down. It might have been vomit but it def smelled like pee. He cannot close his right eye so I picked up some eye lube (ty better lives!!) to keep it from drying out. He is in a lot of pain so I gave him some pain meds this morning. Afterward he seemed a little perkier but he’s still lethargic and his nose is so pale (his gums are light but within normal limits). Im going to call this afternoon to get him an appointment to be seen by one of our vets so we can discuss plans for enucleation. I love him so much I want him to feel better:( he hasn’t even purred once since I got him.
