I've been hyper sensitive to metalcore as this is a genre that I've been listening to for over a decade, but have since drifted away from since it's been getting very simplistic and formulaic for me.
This is a long 6 track EP and I can't see where adding more tracks can add any additional value. This feels like a great LP as-is; they don't need to add anything else here. Tracks are diverse enough and at the end of this I feel like I understand a lot about this band. I'm curious to see where they go from here. Overall, this is really well done. It's well-balanced with the type of tracks it has; ballads, melodies, screaming. Low 7 for me here.
