Summary: Laying awake, Vapora and Teddy end up talking about their long lost partner and lover.

Pairings: Vapora/Teddy, Vapora/Teddy/Clementine (heavily implied)

“Do you…do you ever think about Clementine?” Vapora asks their partner, “like-like do you ever think about where he might be or how he’s doing?”

“Are you asking whether I miss her?” questions Teddy.

“Uh,…yeah. Pretty much.” Vapora says, still hesitant about the other’s thoughts on the question.

Teddy takes a second to answer before asking a question as well, “Well…do you miss him?”

“If I’m being pretty honest…yeah.” Vapors answers, leaning in close to her partner while a frown switched up onto her screen. “I miss her every day…every day, I wonder how he and Zbaltazar are doing and if they made it to the Outside. If they did, I hope they’re okay. I hope Clem still takes care of herself and recharges regularly…not forcing himself to be hard on himself and all that, you know? I just hope she’s okay.”

“Mmm yes…I know what you mean…” Teddy responds, reaching to caress her lover’s screen.

The questions and topic, in general, were always a touchy subject for both of them to discuss, even during past times. Clementine has always been such a stubborn and persistent type of companion—it’s hard to deter her away from a certain goal, let alone make her give up that easily. A typical dreamer with a large hold on his determination, driving him onwards to pursue what he wanted to do. It’s one of the many things that Teddy and Vapora admire about their partner.

Of course, with admiration comes bumps in the road of how Clementine can be.
