I am this song. I will not elaborate! :D
(TW for SH)
entity???
can I speak to it?
Well, we’ll, well! Hello there. I’m what someone may call… a lucid dream ;)
[They’re piloting Dreamy’s body…]
[WARNING: UNKNOWN ENTITY DANGEROUSLY CLOSE]
I used to have pretty long hair (~the length of Yang's) but it was thick and hard to manage so I got it cut to short-ponytail length about a year ago

“Dad… Papa… someone… anyone…”
He’s curled up in a ball, tears staining his cheeks.
“I just need someone who will listen… without leaving me… they don’t have to input… I just need someone…”

okay so I was GONNA make a post explaing how I sketch, but I got distracted making notes on this one specific yang one. so first of all, here's that :3
Transcript of text: "Basic shape", "eyes :3", "further shape" "cut out head" "add chin", "hair! (detail) "Woo, Shapes!" "Squish", labels of the "chest" and "hips""tilt! Counter Balance", "Aloof Expression" "Depth""Weight on arm = leaning back", "reference for what she's leaning on", "pushes out to show thickness", "use up/down curve to show angles" Yang <3
When I sketch I start with the head. Then shoulders (almost always angled for dynamic posing !), and after that just building out from there. As well as adjusting how big segments are, or how close to the body.
I use a lot of curves cause, well, a lot of things are round! Plus, it's much easier to make an intentional curve look good than to try with a bunch of accidental ones.
I also tend to sketch without an exact idea of what I want. I've found it works better for me to figure it out as I go, since it gives me more room to experiment, rather than try to put the image I imagine directly onto the page. (and deal with the subsequent frustration of not getting it right)
Honey, are you okay? I’ll stay with you until those anons leave you alone.
*They sit next to you, curling their tail around you.*
Yeah, those anons were jerks.
It’s okay, love… I’ll be okay. But you staying with me would help…
*He leans his head on your shoulder for comfort.*
