Your URL is essentially your brand on Tumblr. Choose a name that is fun and interesting! In the studyblr community, names with “study” or “studies” attached are preferred to denote that you are a studyblr, but again, this is simply a preference. Totally not necessary (:
There are 3 types of studyblr accounts
I recommend being mixed! Posting your own original content allows you to contribute to the community, and helps other users find your account. It helps you to stand out in the sea that is the studyblr community. However, there is already heaps on heaps of useful and interesting studyblr content out there, and sharing things you find interesting with your followers is never a bad thing
Use tags with your content, especially original posts!!! Tags are what help other users find your posts. Many studyblrs have special tags that they follow to find and promo their followers’ content! (ex. my tag is #startingbullet) If there are accounts you particularly admire, posting with that account’s special tag can help them find you, and they may just promo you if they like your content!
I also recommend following tags like #study and #studyblr so your dash will be able to show you other people’s content for inspiration purposes, and if you’re brave, can connect you with other studyblrs and you can form friendships! (Personally I’m a little too nervous to do this, but everyone I follow in the community is nothing but kind ❤)
The best and most fun part of starting a studyblr, is starting it! This community is an absolutely wonderful and inspirational place, and I’m so excited that you want to be part of it! Your account will change and develop with time, so please don’t stress if it’s not perfect right away. Remember: the universe wasn’t built in a day. Don’t rush, just take your time, and soon enough you’ll find a style that perfectly fits you
