Oh, you know, just Mike not being interested in girls at all. Watching Will the same exact way Lucas and Dustin did Max, mere moments apart, in the same sequence. Mike and Will agreeing on and being awkward around girls. Lucas wasn't scripted to wave at the girls, but they added that in to make sure Mike didn't parallel Will too much. Just boys being boys.

throughout the exorcism Jonathan is questioning his mom for turning up the heat, but he doesn’t protest or scream stop when Nancy shoves a hot poker in his brother’s side?

When you have to read it rather than see it act out the script is so much worse
