DEAR JOSH ( you’re staring up at the stars, looking for me ),

            i hope, for your sake, you’re looking up at a clear sky. trust me when i say it’s best to look at the stars with a mindequally as clear  as the vast heavens that lie above you. as poetic & cheesy as this is going to sound, i genuinely believe how cloudy the sky appears to beon the nights i look up at it mirror any conflict i’m wrestling with within. the cloudier,the more conflicted & vice versa. there’s obviously no science to this, but when faced with cloudy sky, it always allows me to take a moment to reflect & introspect. find the ways i could make things clear & find something up there that i could give meaning.   so for you, even if a cloudy sky can lead to better days, i pray the sky is clear & your heart is full.

             maybe when you’re reading this, we’re looking at the same night sky & i’m looking for you all while you’re looking for me. even if not, i’m still there because my love for you is everywhere - not ruled by time nor by space. no matter how far apart we are, where we are, when we are … you’re my best friend. in every galaxy & every universe & every reality !  ( note: as i’m writing this, i’m literally praying you DON’T ROAST ME for being a big sap but you knew what you were getting into when you became my friend so !! sorry not sorry for pouring my heart out !! ).  anyway, while you’re staring up at the stars anyway, i wanted to tell youabout some of my favorite celestial bodies.

001. Orion the Hunter : this constellation is always bright & bold. i fall in love with it the more i see it. someof the brightest stars make up orion ( betelgeuse is my favorite - you can see it’s orange hue with just the naked eye alone ). super pretty, super cool - all around orion is a 11/10.

002. The Galilean Moons : they might be underwhelming because they just look like four little dots, but i think the fact that you can see moons that are not our own is amazing. it’s the little things, you know?

003.  Shooting Stars : my heart stops every time i see one. i know they’re asteroids & not even stars but, their speed is unmatched. watch one appear just as quickly as it disappears feel like magic. don’t stress yourself out looking for when, one will fly by when you least expect it.there’s a lot more beauties in the sky, but maybe write me back & tell me your favorite? it would mean a lot to me. no pressure though! also, never forget i love you & that i am wherever you are.
