With fall changing into winter, let's go back to summer one last time. The summer of 1963 found Frances "Baby" Houseman on holiday at Kellerman's. She stumbled on a new dance by carrying a watermelon. The dancing was dirty and not formal. The conceiver's name was Johnny Castle. He was the goto man for tango and mambo (horizontal & vertical). Would Johnny change Frances' life? Did she make him waltz differently? Dirty Dancing is the retailing of the 1987 cinematic sensation. Eleanor Bergstein expanded her original screenplay with new ideas, more classic pop music, & social commentary. Audiences are still treated to such classics as "Hungry Eyes", " Love is Strange ", & " She's Like the Wind". The theatre going experience was enhanced by two singers. Change Carmel dazzled as Elizabeth. Jordan Edwin Andre provided surprising vocals as well. They brought down the house with their rendition of "I've Had The Time of My Life". So, Get Your "Baby" Out of The Corner! Don't miss this new take on a classic film! @dirtydancingontour #IveHadTheTimeOfMyLife #NobodyPutsBabyInTheCorner #HungryEyes #StraightOuttaKellermans (at Mark C. Smith Concert Hall)
