44) Go to the St. Patricks Day Parade This is the first parade I've ever been to and it was so lively! Everyone was bursting with Irish energy. :) I mean, my parents have probably taken me to parades when I was younger but that doesn't really count because I have no memory of anything. SO the parade was from 12-1 downtown by St. George (in front of UofT's Varsity Centre) and it was really exciting and also REALLY COLD! Our hands were completely frozen by the end of the parade, but that's our fault too kind of. But just kind of. Hm, I learned a little bit about Ireland's geography! Like how they have counties called Tyrone, Darry... or Barry... or Larry/Gary/Hairy iunno, and yeah that's all I remember. Yeah... Okay yeah I didn't really learn anything BUT I SAW BIG DOGS THAT LOOK LIKE HORSES YAY!! Things I saw that I expected to see: 1) Marching bands playing bagpipes 2) Irish dancing 3) A leprechaun... that old man dancing like one counts 4) Shawn (hi Shawn) - PROPS TO SHAWN FOR BEING MY FRIEND! 5) the RCMP HAHA. Just kidding, everyone knows they work in the mountains. :P Things I did not expect to see: 1) An Irish clown 2) A transformer and funny cars 3) HUGE Irish hound dogs <3 4) Filipino and Chinese bands... LOL 5) The mayor of TO: Rob Ford 6) Irish hillbillies
