     “You’re Ben, right? The one that was messaging me?”

Ahh, Socorro. For all of its rough edges and even rougher citizens, Arrie had enough friends here that she basically considered the place her second homeplanet. She was just done another bounty, and enjoying herself a drink of  raava over at the Black Dust Tavern when someone suddenly sat down on the other side of her booth. Her hand immediately went over to cover her helmet with her cloak before she gave the stranger a quizzical look.

She knew it was a full moon today and someone she was nervous and just scared she would lose control. Malia hadn’t felt like this in such a long time she had everything under control till tonight. Pacing around in her bedroom biting on her nails as she was thinking of what she could possibly do. Grabbing a sports bag out of her closet that has chains in there taking a deep breath as she was also just ignoring the texts and calls from Peter. Running her hand through her hair. Without a second thought the girl grabbed the bag and walked downstairs thank god her father wasn’t home she wasn’t in the mood to make an excuse of where she was going. Keeping this a secret from her father is at times hard but at times it’s easy especially since she wants to keep him safe. 

The moment Malia walked to the front door and opened it and ready to leave she saw Peter standing on the porch. The brunette was looking at the boy as she was holding the bag tight into her hand while looking at the full moon real quick. “What are you doing here?” It may sound a bit rude and she didn’t meant to but just the full moon talking. 

Halloween / haunted house

“No, seriously.” Rose repeated, not believing for a second that’s what The Doctor had planned. They had been scrambling around the console, excitement brimming in their eyes, the promise of a grand adventure hanging in the air. So, imagine her surprise to find herself at 2018, at a random american city in front of a Haunted House. It was a pretty impressive one, she would give them that, but... still, a haunted house. “Seriously, Doctor. Where are we going?”

     “The TARDIS is sort of my own Fortress of Solitude.” The Doctor smiled to herself. That blue box of hers had carried her through thick and thin, time and again. She considered it a symbol of hope throughout the universe.

Erica could not believe this. They were a few hours away from home when the car broke down. This was why Erica had wanted to take her own bike and not share with Ben. She got out of the car, slamming the door behind her, and made her way to the hood. Just as she flung the top up, Erica heard a loud crack coming from the sky and felt a drop of water on her shoulder. 

“See, this is why I told you that you had to get this car looked at! Now what the hell are we going to do?”

Her little outburst was already put into the shame section of her mind. The Doctor who hopes, with the little side-effect of barely ever looking back. Ben’s words seemed to shock her a little into reality, though. She could never resist someone who knew that look, who related to that look. Just as much as she could never resist the sound of a crying child.

Her eyes fell shut, and she gave an - almost frustrated sounding - sigh.
