Stormy announced the end of our honeymoon phase the other day by sending me flying. We were just going to work on standing still when mounting, I'm grateful that I came down on my butt and not my face! Let alone feeling lucky that my foot came out of the stirrup instead of being dragged along with him. So today, we started natural horsemanship with learning the 7 games, and he's responding really well to them. Plus, it makes me feel safer when he listens to me on the ground after having just been given my first toss from him.
