@parryglasspools hmm yes I agree. Seeing situation and being all "I can use this to my advantage" is certianly in character for James :) I just forsee there being issues if he tries to force Harry's hand. It raises the drama/angst stakes even further and is making me anxious!
(Kinda makes me think Harry is going to live just so that he can reject James with a "I'm sick of Dad, St*, and YOU trying to control me!" but let's not open that can of worms just yet...)

On the one hand, I'm so not suprised that James is the one behind the blackmail and is still exhibiting all the signs of being utterly desperate to be with Harry.
