#stoppulling

So for my first post I figured I'd start off with my trich story! The two photos you see are pictures of me before and after I started to where makeup due to trich! I started pulling my eyelashes in 2009, I can remember that day like it was yesterday! The movie Obsessed had just came and I was watching it and during the moments in the movie when it would be very tense I would start pulling my eyelashes! Well by the end of the movie I had no top eyelashes and had large gaps in my bottom ones. My first thought was "Oh my god. I hope no one notices!" And for a while they didn't so I just keep pulling, but after some time my mom and some of my friends started to notice! Needless to say this embarrassed me extremely bad! Fast forward to the later months of 2009! It's late at night and I'm laying in bed and I have no more top eyelashes to pull so I start with my eyebrows. When i get up to see the damage I had done, all I saw was patches on hair where my eyebrows use to be. Very soon people started to notice that to! Now in 2010, I had stop pulling my eyebrows, but not my eyelashes my top eyelid had no eyelashes what so ever. But during this year I'd start pulling from a different area while still pulling my eyelashes. This time it started while I was at the river with a friend; we were playing around and what not when all of a sudden the top of my head started to itch! So for the rest of the time we were there, which was about an hour, I was scratching it! And by the time I got home it was almost raw, well i started to pull and pull and pull. And by the time I was done I had a bald spot about as big as a golf ball on my head. Now I knew it wouldn't take people long to notice this! And the first person to say something was my P.E. teacher, and then my friends, and then my whole class. These were very embarrassing times for me! But eventually I stopped pulling my head hair but went back to my eyebrows. And at my 6th grade graduation I had to color in my eyebrows to cover up my patches of baldness. And during all this I was still plucking out my eyelashes!! Well through 2011 & 2012, 7th and 8th grade, all I ever did was pull my eyelashes out, but this year (9th grade) I started to wear eyeliner as you can see in the second photo. And I was so happy that I finally could cover it up! But a few months ago I started thinking "You may be covering it up but what is that accomplishing? You still don't have top eyelashes! You're still ugly when you take that makeup off!" So two weeks ago I finally tried stopping for good! And today marks 2 weeks that I haven't pulled and I hope it stays that way!
