I take Tivicay and Truvada (switching to Descovy). Everything has been great. However, recently I felt really blah. Noticed my stools are clay colored in the toilet and on tp with mild body itchiness. My liver labs have been good. No way I could have an STD. It makes me wonder if my liver got aggravated since last blood work. I've always thought clay stools mean something is wrong with the liver, gallbladder, or pancreas. Been on meds for 8 months. Is this something to be concerned?
Clay-colored stools can be a sign of a liver or biliary problem. You should tell your doctor, and if you haven’t had liver tests done since the problem started, you should get them repeated.
