usually, angela didn’t mind kids coming to the reel and being, well, kids. usually, they’re with their parents or with a group of friends, all giddy and excited to see the movie they made plans for. she’d smile at them, hand them their tickets and popcorn before sending them on their way. what she does have a problem with is when a group of kids for a birthday party act like animals and the parents don’t do anything about it — which was exactly what happened today. pinching her leg, she smiled sweetly at the parents and told them to enjoy the show. the moment they rounded the corner, angela let her cheeks drop and inhaled deeply. she was not going to get pissed off right now, she still had work to get through. afterward, she’s probably gonna go to the gym to let it out. for now, she looks up at the next person in line. “Here’s some free advice: if you have kids and decide to bring them here for family night or some shit, make sure they don’t act like hyenas, k? Otherwise, what movie will it be?”
