I feel like Dirk didn’t actually smoke weed or anything until he met Dave. He didn’t have access to it in his apartment and the only idea he had of a high was the SBaHJ movies and they were probably turned up to be as dramatic and weird as possible, and although Dirk will never admit it Roxy getting drunk scared him especially cause of where she lived.
But on Earth C him and Dave started smoking weed and it was like the only time the two fully calmed down, unless they were in public than Dirk was losing his mind and Dave wouldn’t stop laughing. Their friends started calling them the Stoner Brothers at some point instead of Strider lmao
