Gargoyle in a Gyft Shop
[[Below the cut are logs take from Doggo’s Gyftma Retreat of an interaction between the Gyft Shop Clerk Hamael (an Erelim, one of the Seraph’s angels, completely mute) and Goliath, a gargoyle!gaster from @stonecolossal. Note: I was controlling Hamael at the time, and found the entire experience to be humorous and enjoyable heh. Thank you, Raiyn! ]]

[Goliath managed to slip through the door and, oh dear, so many things in here. He was being super careful not to knock anything over, especially not with his large tail.] [The gargoyle was like a bull in a china shop.]

[ she's gonna gently tap Goliath's shoulder after pulling out a red sweater from the rack. It has a poofy white monster on the front and reads "are you yeti for Christmas?" ] "How about this one?"

[Goliath blinked and turned his head to look at what she was showing him, raising a brow at her. What kind of a sweater was this? This wasn't anything he'd ever seen before.] '....very..strange..'

[ she's amused by his response. Honestly this massive monster seems like a sweetheart underneath that mean exterior of his. She's gonna fish through the sweaters until she finds one that looks remotely his size, and then shove it at him. ] "Try that on."

*[... Hamael reaches into a box behind the counter and pulls out a massive... blanket? Wait, no he flaps it out a few times and yes, there are sleeves. Its the ugliest christmas sweater that can possibly exist. It's also the largest. The angels pats the counter a few times to get Goliaths attention.]

[Goliath was about to try on the sweater when he blinked and looked over at the dog, blinking at what they had. Taking it in hand, he stared at it and then, at Hamael, slipping it on over his head. Goliath was being cautious of his horns but, he got it on and..it fit him.]

[ oh that's even better. It's huge, and hideously ugly. PERFECT. she gives the monster a thumbs up and tucks the sweater she'd pulled out back onto the rack. Does this monster really need pants? A sweater and a loin cloth is acceptable, right? ]

* [Its eye searing but it fits. Hamael is a bit tempted to usher the massive monster out f their store to inflict the blight upon the rest of the resort, but they had to take some responsibility. After doing the numbers, charging not for the sweater as a whole but the cloth by the meter, the total comes up to 250g... no wait, it dropped to 200g. Much more affordable!]

[Goliath is unsure if he likes the sweater, but it fits and its, surprisingly, very warm and comfy. He glances over at Peacee to see the thumbs up and he looks around, trying to find something else. Though when his eye happened to see a red scarf, he pauses, reminding him of one he had long ago. So he picks it out and wraps it around his neck. Now hes very warm.] [Looks like he wants to add the scarf to it too, and maybe something to cover his feet, at least.]

[ She turns to throw a glance at Silver. This human clearly had little understanding of monsters in general. She's growing less fond of them as time passes. But, she's just gunna look back at Goliath, and idly flick through Vi's wallet... because she can. ] [ A gentle hum escapes her lips as she comes across a couple photos, one of herself, one of Jack, and one of the two of them with Vi. These are decently old photos. Awh, how sweet. Gunna tuck those back in there for safe keeping. ]

*[Hooboy thats a lot of flying wood shavings. A rapid series of popping snaps and one noisy drill boring a hole at the faster than OSHA approved speeds... the Erelim stands. Proud. And covered in sawdust. But PROUD!. Besides the gargoyles massive feet are equally massive sandals. Composed of scraps it may be, but it somehow looks proper! The wood has been sanded to a fine smooooth finish, and colorful tinsel has been weaved into the tube straps giving the footwear a holiday flair.]

[Drew glanced at the paper and looked at it, nodding his head with a small...smile. The Gargoyle was smiling, and the tip of his tail twitching with joy. Good, that was a good smile. A broken one, but good.]

[ Shopping success! Now they can get back to the lounge and Peacee can return her boyfriend's wallet to him. She's gunna gently grasp for the end of the scarf now wrapped around Goliath's neck, and tug him back off in the direction of the #ski_lodge-lounge . ]
