Hey everyone!! To kick off the Summer of Stonathan, we're going to start doing Stonathan Sundays this Sunday, 22 June!! With 8 weeks until Stonathan Week still, we're going to be doing this every second Sunday. A reminder about what exactly Stonathan Sundays are:
We want to help people get into the Stonathan mood so we will post a list of dialogue prompts and encourage you to write a short (300-500 words) ficlet based on one (or more!) of the prompts.
This is not something you should stress over or spend a lot of time on, it's just to get the creative juices flowing!
We will post the first list of prompts at 12pm EST
Anya is live and ready to show you everything. Watch her strip, dance, and perform exclusive shows just for you. Interact in real-time and make your fantasies come true.

Jonathan tries to escape from a party. He's not used to people noticing.
NOTE: a stonathan sunday ficlet inspired by the prompt "why do you care?"
you can also read this on ao3 here
âHey, Byers!â Jonathan turns around reluctantly. Heâs just managed to disentangle himself from the masses, so close to a successful escape. But no. That wouldâve been too much to ask.Â
This never used to be a problem. First, he never used to show up at any party full stop and tonightâs reminded him of all the reasons why. Second, when he does show, no oneâs ever noticed him slipping away before.Â
âWait up,â Steve Harrington says now, squeezing through the crowd to catch up with Jonathan, completely unaware that heâs breaking all the rules. He never seems to notice. That itâs not supposed to be like this.Â
Jonathan tries not to let it show, just watches as Steve closes the distance between them and throws an arm around his shoulder. He smells very Steve-like with an added pinch of sweat and liquor. His cheeks are flushed pink. Definitely on the drunker side of things. âWhere are you going?âÂ
âHome.âÂ
âWhy?â Â
Jonathan wonders if alcohol can have the magical effect of Bambi-fying a personâs features. When his father gets drunk, his face only grows more sunken. Not Steve. Heâs beaming at Jonathan in that weird way that makes his stomach twist and he could swear his eyes are bigger somehow. And soft.Â
âWhy do you care?â It comes out crabbier than Jonathan intentioned. He really wants to get out of here and the weight of Steve is distracting and threatening to change his mind. Â
Steve leans in closer, bringing their heads together as if theyâre sharing a secret. Jonathan hasnât drunk anything, but in his chest thereâs a low fluttering. âBecause,â he says, slowly, like heâs contemplating the question very seriously, âI just do.âÂ
The breath escapes Jonathan. The hum in his chest doesnât go away, but the tension in his shoulders does, built up in the weighty little pause Steve built into his sentence.Â
âOkay,â he says.Â
âNo seriously,â Steve insists and puts a little more of himself onto Jonathanâs side. Heâs not heavy, just warm and close, getting rid of the last spaces between them. âDid something happen? I saw you with Tommy and Carol. They just talk a lot of shit, you know? Theyâre idiots.âÂ
Then why are you friends with them? Jonathan thinks and realizes then that he isnât really. Not anymore. Itâs just this kind of party. Everybody comes and it doesnât mean anything. He hates it.Â
âThey are,â he agrees. âJust isnât my crowd, I guess.âÂ
Steve moves to the side and Jonathan isnât expecting it. They sway together as one and stumble over their own feet, halfway into the hedge that borders the little stone path leading to the gate.Â
âMh. Okay.â He turns and looks directly at Jonathan who idiotically forgot to avert his gaze in time. Another pause. Jonathan can smell his breath. Itâs not great, but he doesnât mind so much when itâs paired with brown eyes flicking up and down, catching him in place. âDo you wanna go somewhere else, then?âÂ
It takes a second or two for Jonathanâs brain to process. âWith you?âÂ
Steve grins. âYeah.â He frowns briefly. Sways again. âBut I donât think I should drive.âÂ
âNo.â Jonathan looks back to the house and then into the darkness where Steve wants to take him. Only him. âCome on, Iâll drive.âÂ
He hadnât even made it twelve hours with things broken off with Jonathan before heâd gone out and done something batshit insane. And itâs not like he got drunk and woke up naked in his yardâsomething innocuous to the rest of the world, only really an embarrassment to himselfâno, because that would be too simple. Instead, heâd gone and dragged the majority of Hawkinsâ population into the fray.
âOkay,â he mutters, finally facing himself in the mirror. âYou messed up, okay? You fucked up, and things are bad, but there has to be a way out of this.â
His reflection blinks back at him, offering neither answers nor solace for his current predicament.
Here's a free tip if you're ever looking to live in a town like Hawkins, Indiana: never pay a cheerleader to perform a love spell on your sort-of ex-boyfriend.
[aka have 6/10 chapters of an au for day 2 of the lovely @stonathanweek!!]

The parking lot was empty except for Jonathan's car and one other. Steve Harrington sat in his BMW, turning the key, but failing to start the car. When he saw Jonathan, he jumped out and jogged toward him. âHey! I donât suppose you could give me a jump?â
Jonathan nodded and said, âYeah, okay.â
As Steve led the way back to his car, Jonathan noticed the way his uniform shorts left absolutely nothing to the imagination. It was a shame such a nice ass was wasted on a straight guy.

Summary:
The band 'Spicy Six' took a deal with Rolling Stone Magazine to get extra money and publicity on their first tour, allowing a reporter to join them for the entire time. That reporter is Jonathan Byers, who gels much better with the band than anyone had expected, especially Steve Harrington. It also turns out his past as a drummer comes in handy when their existing drummer, Billy Hargrove, becomes increasingly problematic. But is it just a temporary set-up, or could it be something more?
