Our justice system sentences people (especially POC) to jail for 10-20 years for nonviolent marijuana crimes, yet gives a homophobic, terrorist, would-be mass murderer who planned to ruthlessly murder hundreds or even thousands of people a 7 year sentence? Absolute BS. Our justice system needs major restructuring to root out racism and lopsided sentences. People convicted for nonviolent marijuana crimes need to be released and changes must be made to treat POC fairly. On the flip side, dangerous pieces of trash like Brock Turner and this man need to be held accountable for their actions with longer and harsher sentences. If I witness any form of hatred, I will make it my business to get involved. Will not partake in the bystander effect mentality that says do nothing. What’s more, always passing up opportunities to sack ignoramuses promoting hate... that will always be the death of civil/human rights.
