View from the first floor at St Mellons Hotel in Cardiff. Built in 1878 it was originally home to Sir Henry Webb and called Llwynarthen. The grounds looked fabulous and there's a really good sized pool. Inside are some fabulous decorative cornicing and great big curved wooden doors. Although in places there were signs of wear (such as patch painting & broken sash) the staff were really friendly and it was a lovely relaxing place to stay.
