"Oh, please, Ward, it's pitch black out here! I'm not recording you with your stupid, old camera just because you found a cat in this repulsive par-"

"Edward, shut up and RECORD."

(The camera was shoved aggressively into someone's hands, Edward muttered multiple insults and complaints under his breath but pointed the camera at Rose anyway. She was petting a rather friendly orange cat, sniffling.)

"... Are you crying?"

"No, it's my allergies kicking in."

(She scratched at the now glaring rashes forming on her face because of the cat fur on her, sniffling again as tears formed up in her eyes, doing all of this while still petting the cat and pressing kisses to it's head.)

"ROSE."

(Edward sighs heavily, dragging his hand down his face, his voice is muffled because of this.)

"How does one even manage to-"

(He sighed, shaking his head in minor disappointment.)

"...Are you at least ok? Second degree burns can be rather serious-"

(Rose is jumping up and down behind him, waving her hand in the air like an over-eager student.)

"HII!!! Hello! I know how to treat burns if ya' need me to at all! Because, y'know, I am a doctor after all-"

"-With five accounts of medical malpractice, now go back to bed rotting before you kill my assistant in an experiment!"

(Edward sighed, glaring at Rose as she rolled her eyes and went off-screen with a dramatic wave goodbye.)

"I already told you, Ward, I do NOT have the time to be apart of your little self-indulgent- and therefore highly idiotic- 'blog'. Now, GO AWAY."

...

"Welp! You heard it from the man himself folks, guess I'll be on my own for this one!"

(The recording shifts, showing this woman sitting on a makeshift stool with the camera facing her, she gives a wide, almost unsettling, smile.)

"My name is Rose Ward, but many of you Gothamites know me as The Surgeon, ooohhh sppooky... Anyway! I've decided to document my little break just for funsies, along with my amazing, wonderful, and adorable boy... I-don't-know-what-he-is-to-me: THE RIDDLER!!! Aka, Edward Nyyyg-"

(The recording abruptly ends with a low battery flashing before the screen goes pitch black.)
