soothstimmian: a gender that feels like soothing/calming stimming and/or is related to calming stimming. it’s calm(ing), and can feel like any sort of stim - humming, rocking, hand flapping, etc. - depending on how the user personally stims to calm themselves and/or when calm. it may feel like it’s overflowing with calm emotions or calming feelings, only appear when the user is incredibly calm/peaceful etc. or when the user needs to be calmed/soothed, be inherently linked to things that make the user stim to calm themselves, etc. can be used by anyone who soothing/calming stims.

another -stimmian term! the flag uses soft, peaceful colors (and, since the colors are already so pastel, i didn’t make a lighter version like the ecstimmian and upstimmian flags). the symbol is the peace sign emoji, to represent calm, along with music notes for those who use music and other noise as a calming stim and a mute symbol for those who use silence as a calming stim!

the term is a portmanteau of ‘soothing’ and ‘stim’ + ‘ian’, and can be used as a prefix (ex: soothstimmianboy).

presstimmian- a stimmian gender related to wearing articles of clothing to put pressure on parts of your body, such as beanies or gloves!

ecstimmian: a gender that feels like happy stimming and/or is related to happy stimming. it’s joyful, and can feel like any sort of stim - hand flapping, jumping, humming, repetitive noises, etc - depending on how the user personally happy stims. it may feel like it’s overflowing with positive emotions, only appear when the user is incredibly excited/happy,  be inherently linked to things that make the user happy stim, etc. can be used by anyone who happy stims.

i wanted a term like this for myself, so here it is!! the word is a portmanteau of ‘ecstatic’ and ‘stim’, and can be used as a prefix (’ecstimmiangirl’, ‘ecstimmianfluid’, etc). the symbol is the hand-waving emoji edited somewhat to represent flapping hands, a common happy stim - feel free to use it for edits or whatever!

fluidstimmian: a gender that changes depending on the emotion(s) one is currently experiencing and the stim(s) one does when feeling those emotions. it feels like one’s current emotions and the stims they’re currently doing or could be doing. it may feel like it’s overflowing with their current emotions, only appear when they’re experiencing an emotion that makes them stim, be inherently linked to things that make them stim, etc. can be used by anyone who stims. can also simply refer to someone who is fluid between stimmian and other stim-related genders.

upstimmian: a gender that feels like upset stimming and/or is related to upset stimming. it’s overwhelmed, and can feel like any sort of stim - hitting things/oneself, yelling, kicking, etc - depending on how the user personally stims when upset. it may feel like it’s overflowing with negative emotions, only appear when the user is incredibly angry/overwhelmed/etc, be inherently linked to things that make the user upset stim, etc. can be used by anyone who upset stims.
