There's a big Southwestern letterpress contingent out there, they might find this amusing. Well... I got Hatch cultivars, properly acclimated them, tried to keep the heat from killing them in their containers without overwatering, gave them Powdered Solanum Chow, picked what I could, roasted them on the stove's gas burner, let them steam, peeled the skins and then pureéd them down. There was just enough to fill four tortillas with melted cheese, and I didn't have enough to make either a pure red or green sauce, but the flavor was right and they had a nice even heat.
