Isaiah 57
This is referring to more of the second half of this chapter...
God is holy, magnificent, awesome, and matchless. He dwells in THE high and Holy place. Yet it also says He dwells with the lowly and contrite. Crazy how God dwells in such seemingly opposite places. Or perhaps that's just how God works (Matthew 5:3,5). The poor in spirit have the Kingdom of God. The meek will inherit the earth.
In verses 17-21, there are two types of people. Both seem to be sinners. Yet one experiences healing and restoration while the other is declared wicked and receives no peace... why?
