Since Tiff states that there hasn’t been a war in Cappy Territory for a very long time, does this imply that the Rough Ranger Squad was once affiliated with the Galaxy Soldier Army?

Although Cheif Bookem made up the story that HE was in the program, the squad itself does exist according to his confession to Tuff.

In the 4KIDS dub, Bookem states that he was rejected from the squad, but the original Jp version had a more interesting story to tell:

Since we never get to see Bookem’s brother in the show, I wonder if something bad happened to him during the events of Nightmare’s war.

Off topic but this reminds me of the 4KIDS version of “Unreality TV” where Escargoon briefly states that he is looking for his long lost brother LOL

Maybe the RRS had a similar story to the ninjas where they fought alongside the Galaxy Soldier Army. However unlike the Ninjas who likely disappeared after Yamikage betrayed them, the RRS had enough of the war and retreated somewhere else. Throughout history the Cappies changed from being tough soldiers to becoming calm residents. I believe as the years progressed the Cappies lost their sense of courage and become cowardly whenever someone brings up the ongoing war (Which could explain why most of the Cappies ran out of the Halberd during the events of “Cappy Town Down”). In the events of the finale, Meta Knight decribes the Cappies as a peaceful species and that fighting is not in their nature. I have a theory that if the Cappies still fought in the war, they would’ve been entirely different.

Another branch of history about the Cappies that should be brought off more is the tension between the Cappy Clan and DDD Clan. In the episode “Curio’s Curious discovery” there has been an unsolved debate whether the Cappies founded Cappy town or if it was the DDD Clan who founded it. Although what I am about to say is never mentioned in the show, I wonder if the two clans were once at war before the DDD clan won and set up a truce. Although the current king DEDEDE never declared war on his residents (I guess besides the pie episode???), the cappies don’t seem to agree with what he has to say. Maybe because of the possible war, that could explain why the cappies never leave their town and move somewhere else.

Back to Tiff’s statement on Cappy Town’s involvement of wars, at least one incident occurred when GSA Drill Sergeant, Kit Cosmos, was stranded on an island near Cappy Town:

I have no idea if the story of Kit Cosmos was ever brought up from any History books. Maybe there were hints that Kit Cosmos disappeared, but maybe the Cappies had no idea where he was or even if he was alive or not.
