If you’re still doing the character interaction, Edge and Plum?

Ooooh.....

1. Romantically

Bad ship. Bad, bad ship. I don’t think Edge would be interested, but I think Plum might be interested in him. Aside from his criminal roots, Edge is just about everything Plum could want in a partner—or thinks he wants. (In reality, nothing Edge did would ever be satisfactory for him. He’d find the most minute things to criticize and he’d verbally abuse Edge because he’s a hateful little monster.)

I see this more as an ‘unwanted suitor’ situation. Where Plum is continually flirting and offering him gifts and compliments, only for Edge to grow more and more uncomfortable as he tries to remain polite while maintaining his distance. It could go pretty badly, if Plum ever gets any leverage over him.

2. Platonically

Edge would keep things between them professional and curteous. He wouldn’t want a close relationship because he finds Plum’s lack of empathy distasteful. Plum, meanwhile, would admire Edge’s efficiency and strength. He’d want to bring him under his wing—into his debt or into his bed. Edge would be too savvy to fall for Plum’s flattery and flirtations, but Plum would definitely try.

What do you mean? How would Cash x Papyrus not end well for anyone?

Just that I don’t think they’d be happy with each other or be able to function together in a polyship. Their personalities would clash, and I don’t think any relationship could survive with them together.

I want to clarify that I have nothing against the ship—in fact, I’m rather intrigued, if only because I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it before—it’s just that I couldn’t see my particular interpretation of the characters functioning together in a happy, healthy relationship. I can’t even really see them getting together at all. But like I said, I’d be interested to see other people’s interpretations. It seems like a good ship. It just doesn’t work for my boys specifically.

How about RHEs, Reformed Human Eaters. Their basically HEs that’s lost their taste for human flesh. It’s rare as monsters, wether AEs or HEs, rarely ever loose their natural dietary needs. Physically they keep the cute aspect but gained traits that AEs possesse ie: fangs, claws, etc. I doubt it would happen but would the boys possibly fall for RHE?

I could see that. It’s the “eating sapient beings” aspect of HEs they’d object to. If they’re not doing that, then I don’t imagine they’d have a problem with them.

(Cash is a bit of a snob? He doesn’t really like anyone. That’s just Cash, though.)
