It Just Hit Me *Bismuth Spoilers*
It just hit me: "Bismuth" is basically a Short Anime Movie. It's thirty minutes long. It's disconnected from the current story arc (IE, Jasper is the current Big Bad and the current arc is dealing with Amethyst's feelings of inferiority due to her defect, neither of which have any baring on the episode). The new antagonist is introduced and defeated during it's running time in big showdown (Bismuth, while not EVIL, is the antagonist). The heroes get a new upgrade. Heck, it even has anime-like Eye Catches! Given the sheer amount of influence the creators outright say they take from Anime, I refuse to believe this isn't intentional.
