She let out a soft giggle as his arms wrapped around her, immediately relaxing into his touch. Dinah had been gone longer than she liked, but her mission had gone south pretty quickly and she was left tracking down someone who didn’t want to be found. Not that she could blame the guy, if she found out a trained assassin was after her she would disappear off the face of the Earth too. Almost a week, a bruised rib, and seventeen stitches later she had finally found her way back home to him. No matter what happened, Dinah had always found her way back home to him. 

Dominic was absolutely everything to her. For so long she had been convinced that she didn’t deserve happiness, that she had crossed the line into a darkness that she could never come back from, but then he came along and, for the first time in so long, she felt loved and safe. Those were two things she’d never thought she would find, not with the life that she led. Her life was complicated and messy and while Snow had done everything he could to condition her into believing that she was incapable and undeserving of love but it hadn’t worked. It would never work as long as Dominic was in her life and, even then, she knew she would always love him.
