Ok I’ve had my first bright idea of the week. Write my resus story! The person who submits the best story will receive a private link of me acting out their story. Contest is 18+ and open to both men and women!

Here are the rules, parameters and helpful guidelines:

1. The story MUST center defibrillation. I’ve been needing a good defib lately, so please focus the majority of the resus attempt on that

2. You are free to use other methods as long as defibing me is the central point.

3. Describe with as much detail as you can! You can describe anything about me, the resus, yourself, your thoughts — whatever comes to mind that’s important to the scene!

4. The story must be 2,000 or less

5. Here’s some things I love to help you write: ragged breathing, hard chest compressions, fast heart beats, ekg sounds, belly swelling with breaths, Hollywood defibs, straddling the patient, ambu bags. I also like both patient survival and patient death, so you choose my fate!

6. I’m accepting submissions until THURSDAY, JULY 3 at noon MST. Winner will be contacted by July 9 and a timeline for their story production will be discussed. I aim to record the story by July 11, but it will depend on my work schedule and how complicated the story is. Submissions accepted via DM!
