I met @date-a-jew-suggestions last night over a reblog and they schooled me in some misconceptions I held myself about Judaism. Despite the fact that I learned American culture in New York City... well... plenty of people lived in Oakland CA before gentrification and held misconceptions and hostility against East and Southeast Asians and Buddhism. This is a site by Jewish people that explains a lot of what I learned. We talked over messenger which isn't rebloggeable. But I also ran this by them and they confirmed.
