I have tons of sweaters and long sleeved blouses but I don’t really have striped clothes because I’m not fond of stripes especially of horizontal ones because they tend to emphasize the width of a person. Naturally, they look hideous on me, so I tend to stay away from these pieces even though most ‘branded’ clothes are so fond of them *cough-Giordano-cough*. But with this blue and white sweater it isn’t so because the stripes are thin and not really wide and since it is of a dark color it doesn’t really make you look fat which is a plus for someone like me who is without the model-ish body. So yeah, I had to buy this top and since it’s a classic design it will always follow trends.

Another classic design is Venice boots with the original collar! So this is how Venice looks like without all the make up, just her in her natural beauty. There’s just something about simple basic designs that make them classic must have pieces that balance out my style. For me, one doesn’t have to be too loud to stand out. Venice with its original collar and oversized sweaters like my top is a perfect combination for laidback afternoon OOTDs without seeming too over the top.

So here are some of the photos my best friend was kind enough to take of me in our school grounds.

I really liked my outfit that day it was all light and comfy, I think I didn’t even break a sweat because I was wearing thin black leggings, plus the shirt is over sized so the wind just breezes through it.

So now you know how I survive the hot temperature in sweaters and various cover-ups. It’s all just an illusion! (Tip: If you wear sweaters or long sleeves but you don’t want to sweat like a pig then make sure they are loose and not so body hugging and made of cotton too!)

Actually this outfit is perfect for evenings outings as well! High-Ridge feels (only those from CDO can relate)…LOL.
