Qunlat Vocab Tables
It's already time for me to expand the Qunlat Primer with more of these tables!
The most helpful illustration for writing Qunlat (for me, anyway) is the Vocab Tables. It combines the A-form and Eb-form verbs ("to have" and "to be") with root words from the Dictionary to make reading and writing a little easier.
As I find mistakes and expand the Primer, I'll keep reposting the doc link like an obsessive twat for the love of the game. Thanks to everyone liking & sharing my little project! I'm open to translation requests if anyone's interested; it helps me refine & expand Qunlat even more. <3
Imsy's Qunlat Primer
"You're Alive!!"
A much shortened version of "The Antaam Pledge: The Search for Cousland", Which takes place during the time of "Dragon Age Inquisition", and is yet to be written.
Dragon 9:41
The Arishok received news that nearly tore his heart to shreds, from a letter the Ben Hassrath forwarded from Gaat, whom had offered to deliver it personally for Leliana as a favor for the Inquisitor– Meshaak Adaar-- whom had been recently deemed “Basalit-An”. Grey Wardens were under the control of Corypheus, and those who resisted him were killed. The Arishok, aware that Aithne had been away for a year, was stricken with a sickening panic at the thought of her being among them. No one knew where she was, not even her brother, Teyrn Fergus. She didn’t say what she feared had happened, but he sensed it in the manner it was written. His secret lover–the closest thing to a wife he’ll ever have– could be dead or a puppet of Corypheus. Nothing that he had witnessed or suffered in all the years of being in perpetual war with blood mages had threatened to steal so much strength out of him that he would collapse on the spot, but this letter did. So to say that he was overjoyed to see Aithne alive and not possessed when she had returned to Par Vollen to partake in the seven-day celebration that followed the Arishok declaring several fallen Qunari to be Qunoran Vehl, would be an understatement by a tenfold. Their initial greeting had to be strictly professional for the thousands of eyes that were on them, but once they were behind closed doors and in deep shadows of his quarters, he did not waste time gathering her up in his arms, dropping to his knees, and crying repressed tears in the harbor of her arms and upper body as he heaved out a weary, broken "You're alive!!"
((Aithne was completely unaware of anything that had happened from the Conclave explosion onward, as she had been in the Deep Roads the entire time.))
"Softieeeee!"
"It's a good look."

"I missed you, Kadan!"
Could be the time they got together to help the Inquisitor, could be any of the times Aithne returned to Par Vollen before then.
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but there is something about "Inquisition" that I believe needs a major A03 overhaul. The moment Cousland learns about what is happening, she's not going to shrug it off to continue research into a "Cure" for the Calling, or do nothing simply because she has limited knowledge of darkspawn. She is the sort that will drop everything and help the Inquisition in all the ways that she can, despite the ways she cannot. And if the Ben-Hassrath offer an alliance, why not the Antaam?? So, when I finish the "Origins" based story, I will write about Aithne and "Stenishok" going to Skyhold to meet with Meshaak and pledge themselves to the cause in-person! Would this be payment of the "debt" Sten had said was owed to Cousland? Hmmm... no because I personally don't believe Stenishok would consider that a payment of debt, but a duty of the Antaam to see that the world is not destroyed. I just got to finish the whole game because I think the experience of playing it would be more inspiring than just what I get from DAWiki. It's been a long time... I'm nearing the end. Maybe I'll finish before Christmas lol! It's taking longer than I thought it would.
How much do you want to bet that the Stenishok encounter will be painful no matter what choices we make? Like: (Sacrifice)
Someone tries to reason with the Arishok by bringing up the HoF, saying it would be a great dishonor to their memory by invading Ferelden. But Arishok is convinced that it is the people of Ferelden that have dishonored their memory by letting the country continue down what he perceives to be a path of darkness and chaos. He sees the invasion as a way to ensure a future that is worthy of their sacrifice. But the game will probably not let you side with the Arishok this time--the one you REALLY like-- and you will be forced to kill him. (Ritual) The Arishok learns about what Alistair and the HoF did and you have to have your heart torn to pieces by his scornful rebuke (You're not playing as the HoF, but it's still going to hurt). And, naturally, you will have to kill him to save Ferelden.
I really hope I'm wrong about that, though.
