The events at some of the best restaurants in New York were set in motion smoothly as soon as Theo got in contact with an event planner. They would have never thought of it themselves but of course, their fiancée gave them the idea and after that, all they needed to worry about was show up at the restaurant with the menu they had designed and cook. Commanding a kitchen was something Theo did so naturally. It was control chaos but it was also fun, all they wanted in their kitchen was chefs that were comfortable in what they were doing and that always came through in their plates.
Of course, when the host came to let them know that one of their personal reservations had been filled, Theo had to come out and greet their guest. In this case, they knew it was Stella because Imogen wasn't coming in tonight. "I'm so glad you could make it!" Theo was grinning, hands behind their back as people already came in with some appetizers to get her started. "It's a bummer you came in a day when my fiancée, Immy, isn't here, I wanted you to meet her. Everything good coming in?" Despite of saying over and over how they didn't mind staying home, it was obvious Theo was enjoying being at work, even if only for a bit.
