Ales (Sardinia). Piazza Santa Maria. Walking through Ales. Slim guide for passengers and wayfarer. At the end of the long uphill, not very steep road, the wide square of the same name opens up, considerably transformed compared to the ancient times in which it contained only the church and the old cemetery. Over the years, the square has been enriched with various artifacts, which we will see from time to time. Now I will limit myself to publishing some panoramic photos, which show: "su stabi" (pergola), where outdoor lunches or dinners are held (2 images); the church seen from "su stabi"; the stage for the concerts. The pavement, now in stone, was in cement or beaten ground until a few years ago.
