*Shadow walk* glamour: Walking alone at night stealth spell
( Glamour: originally was a term applied to a magical-occult spell that was cast on somebody to make them see something the spell-caster wished them to see, when in fact it was not what it seemed to be).
I like to walk at night a lot. Sometimes is a bit more of a “I can’t pay for a cab” and so I like to do a little something to at least settle my nerves besides any mundane precautions that I take when I go out.
What you need:
*Yourself
*Night sky
*(any extra’s you’ll want~ specially if you want to do it long lasting)
How to cast this glamour:
So you’re walking at night alone in a big city, and want a something extra as protection (remember to keep yourself safe with other measures!)~
In those lonely nights, I want you to become aware of the shadows in the street.
“I am no prey, the shadows are my realm”, get confident. Chant it in your mind, say it under your breath, however you do, adopt it as true.
There’s a shadow in all us, it mingles with the shadow of the world. Gaze at the night sky, you can see the vastness of it all.
“Night sky, I ask of you to wrap your mantle upon me. Make me one with the night, make me one with the shadows that I walk”
Imagine a cloak being set over your shoulders and head. It may be inky as the most non reflective substance known to humanity. It may be wispy like route apparitions. It may be full of stars. But it’s yours, and it’s night and shadows, and you blend with dark spots of the streets.
“Keep wandering eyes away make their gazes go away. I am a walking shadow, none may harm me”
Congrats! your cloak now has a “notice me not” spell on it. You may add as many layers like this as you want.
For me, my perception shifts. There’s a moment when the darkness feels “danger danger”, and then it’s the light that gives me that signal. In particular, this glamour works particular well on poorly lit streets, winter nights, and new moons~
