It's been 2 years since I made The Leap of pursuing my Dream full time. And I really do not know how I've gotten this far... I can honestly say that the last 365 days from October 1st were not the greatest for me and MDK. We lost some important friendships, Lucky died, my truck was vandalized, lawsuits, contractors walking off the job (with a lot of money), we didn't get into a major Pop Up market...boo-hoo, blah blah. Believe me when I tell you...when you get knocked down after you put your ALL into something, that's when that pure Fire comes out, and you#getbackUP. Because of those hurdles...MDK and I got our muscles UP. These hurdles have humbled me and have gotten me in shape to take MDK to the next level. I hope I never lose this #grit, because I feel like I can accomplish anything...What's Next?!?!? In the same year we quadroupled in catering business, we were able to find another contractor, worked more with Jarslberg cheese, partnered with Daily Press coffee, participated in NYC's top food festivals (including Village Voice, TimeOut New York, and Urban Space)....In a couple of weeks MDK will be featured in Food Network's Food and Wine Festival ("Stacked", October 18th). ...and we haven't opened our restaurant yet. I was ready to give up on several occasions, but my family, friends, my Faith, and Team MDK, pulled us through. After jumping over these hurdles, MDK is still in position to OPEN, and that's when the Real work begins. Boom --> We are almost at the finish line, and I could use your help over this 'last' hurdle. Any contribution is helps, we're almost there... www.gofundme.com/mdkstartup #almostThere #stayhungry #stayhumble #staygritty #stayFaithful #stayhonest #NEXT #IgotStoriesYall #chasethedream #MDK
