This is Stefano (sp?). Christos and Marily drove me to a remote village on the side of a mountain today to visit Yurgos, (sp? again) a potter specializing in raku. As is the case he had a sign on his door that said “back in 15 minutes.” First, you have to understand Greek time. What is 14 minutes? Anyway, we then decided to take the back way (absolutely terrifying and unsafe roads to the tourist in the car, seriously!!! SERIOUSLY!!!) and ended up in the village on the next mountain across the valley. There we met Stefano. I wish you all could have been there! He entertained us with all sorts of tricks and stories for upwards of an hour while@we had coffee until@he excused us, thanked us for our time and refused our money. And then we went back and had lunch and met with Yurgos, saw his studio and played with innumerable amounts of cats and one amazing stray dog. If you catch me complaining about the fairy tale I have entered, center me quickly please. #samos #samosisland #Manolates #manolatesvillage #stavrinides #samosgreece #Greece #fairytale (at Stavrinídes, Samos, Greece) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpsKsP_nF89/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1mry6vtug9u60
