I need the equations for a two within-subjects and one between-subject variable ANOVA.
Finally, I find a book which gives ANOVA equations...for every type of ANOVA except the one I need, for which it provides this link http://www.uvm.edu/~dhowell/methods8/Supplements/Supplements/SuppIndex.html (Error 404).

CAN SOMEONE WHOSE GOOD AT STATS PLS HELP ME
"In the general population over the age of 16, the cutoff score on an inventory measuring depression is 70. Lower scores indicate depression. Professor Ed U. Cation samples 64 high school students and finds that this sample has a mean depression score of 66 and a standard deviation of 20. Professor Cation cites this result as "proof that depression is more prevalent among young people."
Okay, so obviously the null hypothesis is mu = 70 and the alternative is mu is not equal to 70. We have a 95% chance of observing a sample mean within 1.96 standard errors of 70. the standard error is 2.6, the standard errors between the hypothesized population value of 70 and the observed mean is 1.6 So i look up z>1.6 in the standard distribution table - the probability IN EACH TAIL (its a two tail test) is 0.548 with a combined probability in both tails of .1096 or 10.96% -
My answer sheet says "This indicates a sample mean of 66 is still a relatively common occurrence if Ho is true" but I'm confused as to why? What would the percentage have to be for it to NOT be a common occurrence? Is it because we're observing a sample mean within 1.96 standard errors of 70?
